"Bloom" Art Print

The Story Behind The Art:
If there's one thing I hope someone takes away from this piece, it's that you don't have to be blooming all the time to be worthy of love, beauty, and belonging.

Bloom was created during a particularly difficult chapter of my life, inspired by my experiences with depression and a shift in perspective that changed how I understood it.

I started thinking of my depression as a season - winter comes every year, and sometimes it feels like it’ll never end, but it doesn't stop spring from eventually returning. That idea brought me a lot of comfort during a time when I really needed it, and ultimately became the inspiration behind Bloom.

I wanted to create something that reminded me of the garden waiting on the other side of the storm. That even when everything feels harsh and dark and numbingly cold, it doesn't mean the flowers won't ever come back.

I can't rush myself through those difficult seasons any more than I can rush winter into spring. And sometimes all I can do is be patient with myself, give myself a little grace, and trust that brighter days will come.
